Abstract: The energy flux solution, originally used by Weston and Brikhosvkikh, and mapped to range-dependent environments by Holland and Harrison, has been developed to compute coherent transmission loss, travel time and reverberation. In this paper the analytic solution and the acoustic approach of the Applied Ocean Sciences Energy Flux code will be presented. The Transmission Loss and Reverberation models will be compared with US Navy Beartrap data, collected in the 2000's. These tests used explosive sources and mapped TL and monostatic and bistatic reverb.
